What we Believe

About God

We believe God is the personal creator and possessor of the heavens and the earth. He is a self existing, self determined and self sufficient God. He is holy and full of mercy and grace. He is more powerful than the most powerful, better than the best. He is higher than the highest. He lives outside time. His faithfulness is eternal.

Trinity

The old and new testaments confirm that God is both one and triune. The christian church also testifies to it. The biblical revelation testifies that there is only one God and that He is eternally existent in three persons, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

About Eternity

God created human beings to live forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or eternally with God through forgiveness, salvation and Jesus’ righteousness. To be eternally separated from God is hell. And to be eternally in union with God is eternal life. Heaven and hell are places of eternal existence.

About Jesus

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal son of God, came into the world that He might manifest God to men, fulfill prophecy and become the Redeemer of a lost world. To this end, He was born of a virgin, Mary, received a human body and a sinless human nature without ceasing to be God.

The Scripture

The authority of the bible is ultimate, final and eternal. The bible is the source of all doctrine, instruction, correction and reproof. The bible is God in a written form. It contains all that is needed for guidance in godliness and practical Christian conduct. We affirm that the bible contains the old and new testaments. 2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:21.

Second Coming of Christ

We agree that Jesus Christ is coming back again and very soon. We believe in the millennium reign and final judgement. The final judgement will determine the eternal status of both the saints and unbelievers, determined by their relationship to Jesus Christ.

Holy Spirit

Champions of Hope Church believes that the Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God. He lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. The Holy Spirit reveals the son to us. He helps us to experience the full life and presence of God in our relationship with God.

The Church

The goal of the church is to make heaven and to take as many people as possible to heaven.
